About Dr.
Dr. Ghanshyam Bhai Mahadev Bhai Patel is a retired Professor and Head of Entomology. His mission is to promote safety of environment through adoption of eco-friendly pest management tools and integrated farming systems.
His educational qualifications include B.Sc. (Agri.), M.Sc. (Agri.) in Agri. Entomology, and Ph.D in Entomology from Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi.
He has held various positions in different institutes — Senior Research Assistant at N.M. College of Agriculture Navsari; Assistant Professor at N.M. College of Agriculture Navsari; Associate Professor at ASPEE College of Forestry and Horticulture Navsari; Associate Professor at C.P. College of Agriculture Sardarkrushinagar; Additional Charge of Professor of Entomology at C.P. College; and Professor of Entomology at C.P. College of Agriculture Sardarkrushinagar.
