Approach

Built three-year financial model with sensitivity analysis, drafted institutional-grade IM, opened virtual data room, ran a structured outreach to 14 PE / strategic candidates over 90 days, managed shortlisting and term-sheet negotiation.

Outcome

Closed at ₹850 Cr at the targeted valuation band. Drawdown completed in two tranches; expansion commissioned within 18 months.

Challenge

Renewable-energy major needed working-capital + project-finance support across multiple in-flight solar and BESS projects. Required parallel ESG/BRSR reporting baseline as foreign capital became a serious channel.

Coordinated multi-bank consortium with PSU + private + development-bank participation. Set up GHG inventory baseline, drafted BRSR Core disclosure, built carbon-credit eligibility analysis for the BESS portfolio.

NPA & Recovery

Challenge

Bank consortium engaged SCG to lead SARFAESI enforcement on a stressed retail-chain account that had failed two restructuring attempts. Asset valuations across multiple states; complex operational obligations; high public-relations sensitivity.

Approach

Issued Section 13(2) notices, coordinated valuations across 19 properties, structured Section 13(4) action with phased possession, ran auction process under Code of Conduct, parallel OTS negotiations with promoter.

Outcome

Recovery realised at ~70% of outstanding within 14 months — well above industry benchmarks for comparable accounts. Account closed; bank consortium settled.

Built revised business plan with realistic order-book assumptions, modeled 7-year repayment schedule with two-year moratorium, negotiated with consortium lead bank, drafted master restructuring agreement.

DPR Pipeline + Bank Proposal Generation

Challenge

NBFC partner needed to scale MSME loan origination from 10 / month to 100 / month without proportionally scaling underwriting team. Bank-grade DPR + CMA generation was the bottleneck.

Approach

Productized SCG's in-house DPR / CMA workflow into the platform that became tevdpr.msmeintelligence.in; trained NBFC origination team on SaaS workflow; embedded SCG quality-review step in the pipeline.

Outcome
